Katarina Wulf

Katarina's love for nature began during childhood, with many hiking trips and spending time in her family’s garden. Growing up in a community that prioritized the environment helped her to develop an appreciation for plants. It also helped her realize that conservation is an incredibly important aspect of life, both in and out of the home.

After attending SUNY Environmental Science & Forestry, where she received her Bachelor's in Conservation Biology, Katarina found her passion in native plant species management. Since then, she has contributed to conserving native plant communities across the country. Her journey in conservation work has included working with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, serving as a habitat restorationist in Oregon and Washington, and now helping here in Massachusetts as a part of the Hedgewitch team.
